Sub-Zero vs Kung Lao! by Oliver Loftus

I’ve been needing to get to this for a couple of weeks now! This is the winning entry for the NCU Ultimate Competition Challenge! delivered in stunning beauty and Dynamic Professional Flare by Smackcakes (aka Oliver Loftus)!

This piece illustrates and demonstrates a mastery of the digital art form and creates a mood of classic warrior brutality.

Here’s a partial quote from Nar: “Not only is this one of the meanest works I’ve ever seen posted in NCU community of kick ass artists, but also the winning entry to the recent Ultimate Competition in which the competitor had to depict any MK ninja either delivering or receiving a brutal death or hilarious friendship.”

Second and Third Place winners are familiar to some of us from the Forms Oblivion Message Board!
Second place went to our own Keith O’Mally (KO!), who incorporated an awesome Stage Fatality, severing Johny Cage in half!
Third Place was awarded to our own, adorable, Kate Bradley (Red), who’s entry was the most blatantly brutal of all, depicting Zub Zero having subdued his opponent and literally sawing her in half with a Serrated sword fashioned out of Ice! Sick Shit! These guys put forth some fuckin’ amazing entries and above all came up with some outrageous fatalaties for the competition!

There were some really awesome entries by everyone who participated in this one! My hat’s off to Artsta for his genius amalgam of game themes and hilarious finisher! One of the tops in my book. Killer Napkins lit this one up with a really original theme too that made me laugh out loud!
