Are you interested in
commissioning a Drawing!?!

Commissions are very much welcome and are done on a first come/first serve basis. Please contact E.J. wsoblivion@yahoo.com to find out about commission rates and availability . . . to speed the process along, be as specific about your desired commission as possible – how many characters, background ideas, props, scene – that sort of thing. When you think that you have given enough, give more. Seriously. All that I ask is that you are specific as possible about the drawing you want.

I request that you pay for ½ of the commission up front
and the rest after the commission is completed to your satisfaction.

I would like to mention that I will only be working in pencil at this time. I request that you pay for ½ of the commission up front and the rest after the commission is completed to your satisfaction. After I have received your request, with as detailed a description as you can give and what ever reference you see fit to attach, I will send you a sketch layout of the drawing for your approval.

The Process: This is how I work.

You can submit your request before you put down ½ of the total amount of the commission, here I can break down your order and give you an estimate on what the total would come to before you commit to a purchase. Work will not start until the first half of the money has been received.

  • Layouts eMail:
    • Once the money is received, I will send you layouts of your request based on your description(s) and you can choose, from the selection, which one you would like to follow through with.
  • Rough Draft eMail:
    • From here I will send you the preliminary rough draft of your order for you to look over and make any, reasonable, changes or additions to the drawing.
  • Second Draft eMail:
    • This version of your drawing will feature some detail and is the step where I would like to be closest to the end of this assignment. Here you are still allowed to make, reasonable, changes to the drawing. Please review it as long as you need before you give me the OK to move on to the final rendering of your piece. I will not continue on the drawing until I have heard from you.
    • I must warn you that if you decide to make a large amount of changes or decide that you do not like the drawing and want to start over I will charge you for any changes that I deem to be outside the scope of your request (our agreed upon commission) $25 per change.
    • Should you decide to start over for any reason, I will keep your deposit and charge you again for the new drawing. If I’ve done the work I will have to be compensated. I know that I’m really sounding like a dick here but I’m trying to ensure that you get the best commission you can in a timely fashion.
  • Final Draft eMail:
    • This is it, the final piece, ready to be shipped to your door. This is more or less a notice that the drawing is finished with a final total for the service. Feel free to give it a once over and request small changes or additions (again, within reason). Once I have received the rest of the money for your commission I will drop the package in the mail with your mailing specifications and we are all set!
